Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of FaveLingo (the "App"). By using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App.

1. Application

These Terms apply to all relationships relating to the provision and use of the App. Any rules or guidelines separately set out within the App form part of these Terms.

2. Accounts

Some features of the App require you to create an account. You are responsible for managing your account, and we are not liable for any damage arising from unauthorized use of your account.

You may delete your account at any time from the settings in the App. Deleting your account permanently removes your account, learning data, and generated listening audio.

3. The Service

The App is a language-learning service that uses AI to generate and provide listening exercises and audio based on the language, interests, and level you choose. We may change, add, or discontinue features or content without prior notice.

4. AI-Generated Content

The listening exercises, conversation scripts, audio, and explanations provided in the App are generated automatically by AI. This content is not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose, and should be used as a learning aid.

You must not use generated content for any unlawful purpose or to infringe the rights of others.

5. Points and Subscriptions

The App may offer points that can be used to generate content, as well as subscriptions. Billing, payment, renewal, and cancellation are handled through the App Store / Google Play, and each store's terms and refund policies apply.

Except where otherwise required, purchased points and consumed content are non-refundable. You can cancel a subscription at any time from your store settings.

6. Advertising

The App may display advertisements through third-party ad networks. We are not responsible for advertisers or the content of their advertisements.

7. Prohibited Conduct

When using the App, you must not engage in any of the following.

  • Violating laws or public order and morals.
  • Infringing the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of us or any third party.
  • Interfering with the operation of the App or placing an excessive load on our servers or network.
  • Reverse engineering, analyzing, gaining unauthorized access to, or otherwise misusing the App.
  • Using or redistributing content obtained through the App for commercial purposes without permission.
  • Any other conduct that we deem inappropriate.

8. Intellectual Property

Intellectual property rights in the App and its related software, design, and trademarks belong to us or their rightful owners. These Terms do not transfer any such rights to you.

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the completeness, accuracy, usefulness, or fitness for a particular purpose of the App, or that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any damage arising from interruption, suspension, termination, or unavailability of the App, or from loss of data.

10. Limitation of Liability

Even where we are liable to you, our liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as needed. If we make material changes, we will provide notice within the App or on our website. If you continue to use the App after changes take effect, you are deemed to have agreed to the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted and applied in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which we are located.
